Dear Friends in Christ,
St. Peter’s Parish Bazaar is a time-honored andtreasured tradition in our community. Every year, in November, our parish puts on this fundraiser which gathers our parishioners, volunteers, family and friends in support of St. Peter’s. The hours of work that go into preparing for the Bazaar are significant. For weeks prior to the event, volunteers clean, sort and price items in the parish hall with care. Without such dedication we would not be able to hold the Bazaar.
The Bazaar is an experience of the Church alive and active outside of Mass. It is an opportunity for us, as a parish family, to reach out to the wider community and interact with the larger community of Northbridge and Central MA. We pray that all who visited us on Bazaar Day were blessed by their stop at our church and through interaction with members of our community.
Your donations of household items, crafts and raffle items are much appreciated by the parish. These donations come to be enjoyed by many who come to the Bazaar and who may not even be part of our community. Each one which is given tells others that you care about our parish and are a good steward of it. I would like to thank all those members of our local business community who made contributions to this year’s Bazaar. It is wonderful to know your care and concern for us through the years. We ask God to bless you abundantly for your kindness.
I would like to extend special thanks to our Bazaar Chairpersons, Jeffrey and Marilyn Thibeault, our Parish Fundraising Committee Members Christine Fung-A-Fat, Victoria Neville, Kim Poudrier, Melanie Dziekiewicz, Holly Henault, our “Parish” Chef, Peter Sabourin, our parish staff and all volunteers who helped make this Bazaar of November 2022 a success!
My Good St. Peter, our parish patron, continue to intercede for us as a parish community. Through the graces which he obtains for us, may we grow closer to Jesus each day in faith, hope and love.
In Christ, Fr. Michael
